Parameterization of the measured values to the semilogarithmic Gaussian distribution function for each of the two absorption bands:

σ(λ) = {σmax × exp(-W[ln(λmax/λ)]2)}first + {σmax × exp(-W[ln(λmax/λ)]2)}second

with
σmax = (3.99 ± 0.33)×10-19 cm2 molecule-1, W = 174.4 ± 5.8, λmax = (338.4 ± 0.2) nm for band 1, and

σmax = (2.85 ± 0.22)×10-19 cm2 molecule-1, W = 196.0 ± 5.8, λmax = (404.8 ± 0.2) nm for band 2
